I was in Door County a couple weekends ago for our 10-year annivesary.  We brought our 2-year-old with us... no one warned us.  We now know better.

Anyway, there's a bead store that I try to visit every time I'm there.  They had these beautiful hand-dyed silk ribbons... I couldn't resist!!!  Now I just have to figure out what to do with them!  But I just HAD to get a few... check out these colors!

I am a 13 year old jewelry maker, an i made two necklaces with those silk ribbons. A fun ideas is to use fun pendants, and use knotting techniques. I am doing my first holiday bazaar at church in November, i am open to suggestions, my mom has bought some of your jewelry.

Hi Alyssa, I recognize your last name! I hope you're having fun making jewelry! I dabbled in all sorts of art until I found jewelry. I fell in love with this, still doing it many years later. If you'd like to email me at symphonyjewels@aol.com, we can chat about craft fairs and I can try to give you some tips. I'm still learning as I go... in fact, I'm in the process of re-designing my entire booth setup for art fairs next year. But hopefully I can give you some useful advice! Hope to hear from you soon!
